Additional Projects

In 1918, J. Wilmer Hershey enrolled in the inaugural class of the John Huntington Polytechnic Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. At school, he was encouraged to participate in design competitions by the Beaux Arts Institutes. Hershey performed admirably against ateliers from New York, St. Louis and San Francisco.
